MonTransit provides comprehensive transit information, effortlessly delivering the most relevant details to you. The app offers a range of features, including offline and real-time schedules for buses, ferries, subways, streetcars, and trains. It also provides updates on bike station availability, service alerts, and the latest news from agency websites, blogs, Twitter, YouTube, and more.

The user interface is intuitive and predictable, displaying nearby route trips and next departures on the home screen. Additionally, users can easily access information through the sliding menu by clicking on the ☰ icon in the upper left corner of the screen or by swiping from the left edge of any screen. For example, the Map screen enables users to discover new bus stops, subway stations, train stations, or bike stations. Alternatively, users can search for a specific place by clicking on the 🔍 icon in the upper right corner of any screen.

No internet? No problem. MonTransit offers multiple offline options for finding the information you need. You can access your favorites or browse all transit information through the sliding menu. Alternatively, you can enter a route number or name, stop code or name, or street names by clicking on the search 🔍 icon. Additionally, all bus, ferry, subway, streetcar, and train schedules are available offline.

One of MonTransit's standout features is its flexibility in installing transit agencies. Users don't need to switch between cities; instead, they can access all relevant information anytime and anywhere. The app also ensures that buses, ferries, subways, streetcars, and trains remain up-to-date through Google Play Store auto-updates without draining your device's battery or using up mobile internet data (3G/4G/LTE).

MonTransit currently serves various regions in Canada and the northern United States. Notable regions include Calgary, ETS, Red Deer, BC Transit, TransLink, West Coast Express, Winnipeg, Brandon, Codiac, Fredericton, Metrobus, Halifax, GO Transit, GRT, HSR, MiWay, OC Transpo, TTC, YRT Viva, Niagara Region, St Catharines, AMT, BIXI, RTC, RTL, STM, STL, STO, STS, CIT, MRC, Regina, Saskatoon, and Whitehorse.

All of MonTransit's features are available for free with no paywall. However, users can support the project and remove ads by opting for a Google Play subscription. A one-month free trial is available with the freedom to cancel at any time.
